Shades of Blue Sea Glass Necklace on Sterling - NEC-SEA-B2
This gorgeous necklace is made of 27 drilled pieces of cornflower blue sea glass direct from Puerto Rico. The glass are small pieces all less than 1" in size.
There are few different blues in this necklace:
Pale sky blue - Comes from glassware, soda and beer bottles and mason jars
Ice blue - Comes from glassware, mason jars, insulators. This is one of the rarer blue colors.
Sky blue - Comes from glassware, various types of art glass, and insulators. This is one of the rarer blue colors.
Cobalt blue - comes from late 1800's/early 1900/s medicine, perfume and poison bottles, insulators, various types of art glass, cosmetics jars.
The color is stunning Cornflower blue sea glass is uncommon and most likely comes from pre-1900 Phillips Milk of Magnesia bottles, Bromo-Seltzer, Vick's Vapo-Rub and ink wells. About 1 in 500 pieces of sea glass are this color.
The glass is strung on sterling silver wire with sterling beads giving the necklace strength and flexibility so you can shape it to you neck. It has a sterling silver chain and clasp and measures 19.5" long - a perfect length!
Earring are included and are top drilled glass that hang from a sterling bead and wire.
Shipping is via the US Postal Service. First class with tracking is recommended so that you can track your purchase until it reaches your home. Our goal is to get your item shipped out within 24 hours. Shipping is free of charge for orders over $50.
Your jewelry will be placed inside a pretty seafoam gift box that is tied with a peach organza ribbon. This is then placed inside a bright teal poly bubble mailer for secure transit.
