Authentic Sea Glass Jewelry
Pendants, necklaces, earrings and bracelets all crafted from authentic sea glass and sterling silver. The sea glass we use comes from beaches around the world collected by avid collectors. We carry sea glass from Puerto Rico, Maine, the Baltic Sea, the Azov Sea in Ukraine and the South Seas. Each piece is unique due to the natural process of being beaten among the waves and rocks for years.
The most common sea glass colors are white, brown and green. Some of the rarest colors are lavender or purple, aqua blue, yellow and red. In between, there is amber, olive green, seafoam green, cobalt blue and cornflower blue.
I describe the colors of the glass from The Seaglass Color Index by Margaux Anne Siegel.
How do you know if the sea glass is genuine? If you find jewelry made with bright colors that have uniform shapes, it is most likely man-made tumbled glass. Genuine sea glass is frosted from years of tumbling, has smooth edges, many look like pebbles, others are not yet fully weathered and have different shapes. Our commitment is to use only genuine sea glass or beach glass (which comes from lakes instead of the ocean).
Due to the uniqueness of the individual glass, no two pieces of our sea glass jewelry is exactly alike. They may be styled in the same manner, but none are identical.
